Primary data location
Ozibus is operated by an Australian company.
Its primary hosting infrastructure is currently located in:
Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America.
Customers should therefore not describe an Ozibus deployment as "Australian-hosted" or "Australian data residency" unless Ozibus has expressly provided a separate Australian-hosted environment.
International processing
Information may also pass through Twilio, Namecheap-hosted private email infrastructure, Stripe, telecommunications carriers, Meta/WhatsApp, recipient email systems and destination networks in other countries when necessary to provide the requested service.
For example, an SMS sent to a recipient outside Australia will ordinarily involve telecommunications infrastructure associated with that destination.
WhatsApp Business messages are processed through Twilio as Ozibus's current underlying WhatsApp Business messaging provider and through infrastructure operated or selected by Meta/WhatsApp. SMS messages are also routed through Twilio and relevant telecommunications carriers. Provider and destination-network processing may occur outside Australia.
The applicable Twilio contracting entity, Twilio regional configuration, Meta/WhatsApp entity and downstream telecommunications or solution-provider roles may vary according to Ozibus's production account configuration and the destination of the communication. The published notice should remain aligned with the live provider configuration and should not imply Australia-only processing.
Subprocessors
Ozibus maintains a register of material subprocessors and service providers that identifies, where reasonably practicable:
- provider;
- purpose;
- type of information involved; and
- principal processing location or location note.
The register must be updated whenever a material infrastructure, communications, payment, monitoring, analytics or AI provider changes. The provider names below identify the current service brands agreed for Ozibus; the applicable contracting legal entity and exact processing location may depend on the account, regional configuration and provider terms.
Current agreed provider baseline: Twilio is used for SMS and WhatsApp Business messaging, Namecheap hosts/supports Ozibus's private email service, and Stripe processes or reconciles Ozibus payments. Additional material providers must be added to this register when introduced or identified.

Payment processing detail
Ozibus uses Stripe (including the applicable Stripe entity and its authorised service providers) to process and reconcile customer top-ups, sales-assisted invoice payments, approved bank-transfer or bank-payment transactions, refunds and related payment activity. Stripe may process customer identity, billing, payment-method, transaction and fraud-prevention information in Australia and other countries according to the Stripe services used and Stripe's applicable privacy and data-transfer arrangements. Ozibus should keep this disclosure aligned with its live Stripe integration and contracting entity.
